Maintenance Access Platform

This customer is a large coffee supplier for the U.S. and Europe, and they needed a safer solution for accessing equipment that overhangs an existing platform.

The access point is approximately 25 feet above the floor. The customer previously used a man lift to access the equipment, which was considerably time-consuming with the limited space and obstacles from the production line.

We designed a free-standing, OSHA-compliant work platform to allow quick and easy access to the equipment with no modifications to existing structures and fixtures. We ultimately provided a 3D design, manufacturing drawings, and a PE-stamped plan for the customer.
